SOCIAL PROJECT – LENZUOLINO

Lenzuolino, Linificio and Canapificio Nazionale’s social project

LENZUOLINO | 1873 OULD LINEN | CSR

Together with partners Terre de Lin, the world’s most important agricultural cooperative that grows fibre in Normandy, and Lanerossi, a historic Vicenza-based company of the Marzotto Group that has made its e-commerce channel available for the sale of LenzuoLino. Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale has chosen to support charitable projects devoted to children and promoted by organizations identified by The Circle Italia Onlus, the highly-respected association founded in England in 2008 by Annie Lennox.

A ‘circle’ of women who give time and provide skills to design, implement and promote awareness and fundraising campaigns. ‘A network of women who are committed to helping women across the world who live in difficult circumstances.’

LenzuoLino is a set of linen sheets and pillowcase, in cradle and cot format, made the way they used to be made, from a seed that is as pure as nature.

The name of the yarn – 1873 The Ould Linen – recalls the year the company was founded – a direct “thread” that links present, past and future. A new yarn, but with a traditional appearance and wholly respectful of nature. Produced with the techniques of the past, it reclaims the quality, purity and elegance of the linen of the past. 1873 The Ould Linen is produced from a seed planted in the fields of Normandy and treated only with steam.

Sustainable, soft, hypoallergenic, breathable and thermoregulating bedsheets and pillowcases, ideal for the sensitive skin of all babies.

LenzuoLino is a very special dedication to the whole world’s children – to those who will feel cuddled in its softness, and to those less fortunate, who can look foward to a better future thanks to the activities supported with the funds raised from its sale.
