A new visual identity celebrating the 150th anniversary of Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale

The year 2023 has a special meaning for Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale. It marks 150 years since the company was founded (1873).

Numerous initiatives over the year will celebrate the anniversary, beginning with a new visual identity that projects the brand towards the future with a fresher and more contemporary look.

With the updating of the font and the removal of the band that encircled the crest, the original elements have been made clearer, more contemporary, and easier to decipher.

In the new graphic design, the initials “L“, “C” and “N“, the year of foundation (1873), the oval crest and the name of the company have all retained their innate elegance, remaining unique and distinctive.

The most obvious change, however, is in the chromatic aspect. The colour red, previously relegated to the background, becomes predominant, making the logo even more recognizable.

The new logo, which from this year will be used on all the company’s corporate material, also appears in a special variant celebrating the 150th anniversary

An unusual graphic stroke of the pen has also been used to create the number 150, which calls to mind the yarns of an imaginary loom and the filaments of 3D design.

These elements recall two fundamental factors for Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale: its history, a priceless heritage of which we are proud, and innovation, which characterizes our daily work and makes us look to the future with ever-increasing optimism and enthusiasm.
