Kaori Miyayama

Kaori Miyayama is a Japanese artist. In her anthropological and artistic journey, she analyses the differences in “perspective” and “spatiality” in the everyday life of different cultures and generations.

Using a variety of media, such as painting, printing and installation, she mixes traditional and contemporary Japanese and European techniques in an artistic quest to discover “connections” rather than “distances”.

Her production has taken her to exhibitions all over the world, from art galleries to various historical structures such as villas, ruins, churches and numerous others.
